Rose Al-Kahili from St Mary’s Senior High School has been announced as the winner of this year’s Bateman Battersby Law Bursary.

Rose completed the Higher School Certificate in 2016 achieving a ATAR of 99.40 and has been admitted to the Macquarie University to study for a Bachlor of Arts with the degree of Bachelor of Laws.

As the 27th winner of the award, Rose Al-Kahili was presented with the Bateman Battersby trophy and a cheque for $1,000.00 as assist her in her initial year of legal study.
