She prepares and reviews contracts, liaises with banks and other professionals, arranges settlements, and, perhaps most importantly, ensures clients feel supported and informed throughout every stage of the process.

The Confidence of Experience

After 18 years in banking, Lynnette made the transition to law. She originally applied for a receptionist role, but when the firm needed assistance with conveyancing during a busy period, she stepped up without hesitation. “It was sink or swim,” she recalls. “And I guess I’m still swimming!”

That same adaptability and dedication have shaped her career ever since, and clients know they’re in capable, caring hands.

“I’m a sounding board. This is what I do every day, but for my clients, it’s often their first time. I just want them to feel they can ask anything, and that they’re not alone in the process.”

She finds particular joy in working with first-home buyers, sharing in their excitement and often supporting them again as their families and housing needs grow over the years.

Family and Community

Lynnette brings the same energy and devotion to her personal life. She’s a proud mother of five and grandmother of five, happiest when surrounded by family. “My husband says I’m like a mother hen with her little chicks, always clucking away,” she laughs.

In her downtime, she enjoys travelling, reading, knitting, and spending time with friends. A former high-level basketball player, she’s as competitive as she is caring, and not afraid to stand her ground when it matters.

“I’m an open book – what you see is what you get. I work in silence to get the job done… but don’t hurt my family or the beast comes out!”
